NOTE: The terms ‗assembled‘ or ‗composite‘ may be used interchangeably. 4.8. Modifications and/or treatments 4.8.1. Cultured pearls Cultured pearls (5.48) of all varieties (inclusive of those defined in 5.8, 5.15, 5.17, 5.49, 5.50, 5.65, 5.91, 5.97, 5.154, 5.165, 5.166, 5.172 and 5.179) may have been subsequently modified or treated by the processes set out in 4.8.1.1 and 4.8.1.2 which clauses shall apply at the points of sale (5.147). 4.8.1.1. No requirement for declaration.
